The two key issues that need to be addressed are:

·         Bottle Bill SB 3469/ HB 3429

·         Enforcement of new scrap law

This will be the primary focus of the TSRA for the upcoming year. These are two key issues that are a major factor in the success of our business and industry for future years.

On Feb. 23, 2010 the TSRA active members will convene in Nashville for our “Day on the Hill”. Rose has established an agenda and made arrangements for us to visit with our representatives and express our views on these two critical matters.

REMINDER

Dues need to be paid for 2009 and 2010. Some of you have still not paid you dues for 2009 and we are already in the 2^nd month of 2010.

These dues are critical in our support of and defending of issues that benefit all scrap dealers.
